This two day event will be focused on all things senior photography– including flow-posing, working with natural light, shooting on location, and creating a genuine connection with your clients. Day two, we will talk about the business-side of working with teens, including editing, marketing, branding, websites and more. Every Evoke Workshop seat includes the meet & greet mixer on Friday evening to kick things off right, two full days of education and hands-on learning, a three hour portfolio-building photo shoot at Smith Rock and lunch provided on Saturday and Sunday.

I started my photography business back in 2007, just as the digital boom was really starting. That makes me sound like a dinosaur, doesn't it? At the time, my husband and I had two toddlers– those kiddos are now seventeen and almost fifteen– which doesn't seem possible. When I finally took the leap from hobbiest to full-time photographer in 2010, it was a dream come true. Over the course of the past ten years, I have grown my business and extended into areas I never dreamed possible. As an industry educator and website designer for photographers, I love nothing more than helping other photographers recognize and embrace their potential. Fusing my love of photography and passion for teaching has been such an incredible experience. I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with you and I can't wait to see where you go from here.
Inspiration runs deep through my veins, which makes me a little restless from time to time. I like to think it's just creativity calling my name, tempting me to get out and explore the beauty that surrounds me. I'm a dreamer, a thinker, a chaser and a doer. Creativity is my heart.
I prefer a messy bun and flannels to curls and heels, because that's just me. Writing fictional love stories is one of my many passions, along with traveling and camping with my family. I believe in laughing out loud, living life to fullest and lazy Sunday's.
