About
The Evoke Retreat with Holli True is a weekend filled with fun, photography and new friendships. This two day workshop will cover everything that I have done to build a thriving senior photography business over the past 12 years. Topics covered include: posing, lighting, locations, marketing, branding, pricing and more. Every Evoke Retreat seat includes the meet & greet mixer on Friday evening to kick things off right, two full days of education and hands-on learning, a portfolio-building photo shoot in a breathtaking location, new headshots (photographed by Holli True), three nights lodging in the Evoke House and breakfast and lunch is provided on Saturday and Sunday.

Join us in Oregon this fall for a photography workshop dedicated to high school senior photography! We'll go over the blueprint of my business, leaving no stone unturned. We will also visit locations I frequently work in, taking full advantage of all of the beauty Oregon has to offer during our destination photo shoot at Smith Rock State Park with beautiful styled models on Day Two.
It's time to rejuvenate your senior photography business and get back to the heart of who you are and what you are all about. I am all about simplicity and it extends through every element of my business. From my session workflow and approach to location selection, posing and communication, to my marketing plan, pricing structure and post-processing edits. HOW MUCH DOES THE EVOKE RETREAT COST?
There are two registration tiers for the Evoke Retreat: Single Rate ($1650 per person) & Roommate Rate ($1350 per person). There are five Single and two Roommates (total of seven attendees). Included with your registrations is two full days of education, three nights lodging at the Evoke House, breakfast and lunch both days of the workshop, hands-on learning, a beautiful destination photo shoot with gorgeous senior models, keynote presentations on all things pertaining to the business of senior photography and more! Travel and transportation are NOT included.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Comfortable clothing and footwear. (This is a must!) We will be shooting on-location at Smith Rock. Bring footwear with closed-toes and good traction. I highly recommend that you dress in layers, jackets, sweatshirts, jeans, leggings, etc. Bring your preferred camera equipment, plenty of memory cards for all of the gorgeousness we'll be creating and a reflector, if you have one. If you'd like to edit at the PJ Editing Party, be sure to bring your laptop and card reader, too!
ARE THERE PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes! We automatically divide registration into three equal payments (Single: $550 per payment | Roommate: $450 per payment). Upon registration, you will be prompted to pay a retainer, securing your seat at the Evoke Retreat. The retainer is NON-REFUNDABLE. You will be invoiced for the next two payments on August 5th and September 5th. If you wish to pay in full, please email us to let us know: holli@hollitrue.com.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
50% of your full registration can be refunded until 60 days prior to the Evoke Retreat, excluding the non-refundable retainer. If within 60 days of the event, the registration fee cannot be refunded. Your payments will be converted to a credit and can be applied to another workshop/retreat within a rolling 12 month period, or it can be transferred to another person.
WHAT AIRPORT SHOULD I FLY INTO?
The Redmond Airport (RDM) is located near Sunriver Resort. The Portland International Airport (PDX) is another option, located about 2.5 hours north of Bend/Redmond or the Eugene Airport (EUG) is about 2 hours west.
WILL I NEED A CAR?
Yes, transportation is not included in your registration. Past attendees have teamed up to share the cost and have rented a car together- I highly recommend this!
WHERE SHOULD I STAY?
Lodging is included! YAY! You have the option to stay in your own private Master Suite (Single Rate) or share a room (not a bed!) with one other attendee (Roommate Rate). There are five Singles and two Roommates available, a total of seven attendees per workshop.
CAN I USE THE IMAGES I TAKE AT THE WORKSHOP FOR MY WEBSITE, MARKETING, ETC?
Yes! Absolutely! You can definitely use the images you take at the event for your website, marketing, promotional materials, business blog, etc. However, the images CANNOT be submitted for publication in-print in any magazines, contests, industry blogs or any other means. If you ever have any questions about this or are uncertain about how to use the images, please contact me and I will be happy to assist you: holli@hollitrue.com.

Cancellation Policy
Holli True cannot be held responsible for any unanticipated circumstances, such as: weather, natural disasters, pandemics, location/park closures, etc.
If a workshop is cancelled, a full refund will be issued for any tuition/retainer paid.
